My journey as an artist began in childhood – some of my earliest “works” were scribbled right on my dining room walls as a small child – but I officially picked up a brush around age 8. As a child, I was inspired by the calming presence of Bob Ross and his “ Happy little trees” which sparked my lifelong love for painting.
Overtime, I have had the privilege of learning from a number of gifted artists. Each one has contributed something valuable to my growth, helping me explore different techniques and ultimately discover a style that feels true to myself.
For me, creating art is more than just a creative outlet – It’s a deeply therapeutic experience. It is a way to slow down and reconnect. Every brush stroke is a moment of peace, and to let my creativity shine. My goal is to create work that not only brings me joy, but resonates with others as well.
My mediums are oil paints and chalk pastels. Here’s my cozy little artist studio. It’s not much but it’s all mine. As long as it’s not called a “She Shed” I’m good.
